Remote Learning

As we prepare for the 2021/2022 school year, lessons will continue to be taught through online instruction, until it is safe to return to the schools. After you enroll in the band program, you will be given access to Google Classroom. (updated 4/22/21)

Google Classroom

• Beginning and Advanced Band will each have their own Google Classroom (codes to be given upon enrollment)
• New lessons weekly
• Video tutorials provided for each new concept/song
• Links to practice music theory
• Worksheets to download for continued practice

FlipGrid

• Students are expected to play one new song for me each week
• Students will recieve feedback in the form of a rubric
• If needed, students will receive additional individual instruction via a flipgrid video 

Google Meet expectations

• Attend scheduled Google Meet sessions
• Join on time
• Have your instrument ready to play
• Show your video so Mrs. Andrade can see your embouchure, posture, and fingerings
